چکیده

Saqqara, the necropolis of first capital city a unified Egypt, is best known today for Step Pyramid Pharaoh Djoser (2667–2648 B.C.). However, only most visible feature this great burial site, and tombs many thousands individuals are hidden beneath sands, some excavated, others not. These human burials part Saqqara’s funerary history. This paper examines catacombs numerous animals revered by Egyptians at Saqqara whose places have come to be collectively as ‘The Sacred Animal Necropolis’ (SAN). First amongst these, both in importance inception, was Apis bull, living image (ba) Ptah, creator god Memphis. it work conducted Professor W.B. Emery (1903–1971) which brought light place Mother well those ibises, falcons, baboons has provided much what we know Necropolis North Saqqara. More recent built upon discoveries made taken new approach these subterranean sacred animals.
